All boxed mattresses need time to air out once unpackaged and expanded. However, off-gassing is minimal with our AirFoam™mattresses. Let your new mattress air out for a couple of hours before dressing the bed, and it will be ready for use that night! After the initial off-gassing, the AirFoam™ has no smell.
